Working in the Middle East since the 1990s, DP Architects’ successful design and completion of The Dubai Mall, a landmark project that developed the city into a global hub, enabled us to establish a foothold in the United Arab Emirates. Our Dubai office functions as a base from which to serve the region while reaching new markets in MENA countries. We have been able to achieve this progressively and have expanded our portfolio of works to include projects in the neighbouring Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Qatar. The footprints of our works now extend to international territories such as Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Across the Middle East, we have built a significant portfolio of works covering a multitude of project types from retail to residential, commercial to hospitality, and large-scale complex to city-scale master plan.

Passion is what sets DP apart – our indomitable can-do spirit enables us to overcome challenges to deliver excellent and economically successful design projects to our clients.  The common thread tying these varied projects together is our continuous commitment to good design that responds to local conditions and specific requirements of our clients. Our creative edge lies in the breadth and depth of our design experience, our relentless pursuit for excellence and constant questioning of the status quo; allowing us to gain fresh insights, see the big picture, and focus on the users in our design solutions. Led by a team of diverse professionals, we work on the design and management of projects. This includes concept design, architectural consultancy as well as project co-ordination between industry players.

Seef Lusail Waterfront Master Plan

2014
The Seef Lusail master plan has been conceived as an urban waterfront concept that seeks to transform the image of city living and reprise the character of traditional Qatari coastal towns that are intimate in scale, walkable and oriented to the sea for livelihoods and recreation. The 60-hectare mixed-use development is set along a 2.3km waterfront promenade and located within Lusail City. The master plan is characterised by deeply integrated mixed-use zones that are woven together by climate-sensitive pedestrian paths and a multi-modal transportation network.
