Kevin Sturrock specialised in architectural lighting & illumination design upon graduation and has over three decades of solid experience. Responsible for the concepts, detailed design & direction of numerous and varied projects around the world.
Prior to establishing DPL, he was the founder of iLAB Singapore in 2007, a successful independent lighting design consultancy. Experience also with Lighting Design Partnership (Sydney, Edinburgh & London offices), Lam Partners Inc (Lighting Architects), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA and collaborations with renowned pioneers of the lighting design profession, lighting architects William M. C. Lam & Jonathan Speirs.
He is a past visiting Lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University and at Duncan of Jordanstone School of Architecture & Design, Dundee – and in Light & Lighting at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London.
Kevin takes a ‘hands-on’ approach to the concepts, detailed designs & implementation for all projects -conceptualising, leading & directing, he engages in all critical design workshops, meetings, consultations, presentations and site inspections to ensure the clearest and most efficient path to a successful completion.
