Elif Tuba Oz

Ms Elif Tuba Oz first joined DP Architects in 2015 as an external consultant. After the DPA Turkey office was established, her role was changed into the associate director of the Turkey branch. Prior to joining DP, She has had her own practice for over ten years in Archistanbul Architects and Yaratıcı İşler Ltd. She also worked as a design studio instructor in Istanbul. Elif has worked in a variety of sectors such as industrial, residential, educational, commercial, healthcare buildings and hotels, mostly in Istanbul since 1997.

In 1999, she was the project manager in Metro Cash & Carry, a German worldwide wholesale market, which was also one of the first international commercial chains in Turkey. For Metro AG, she completed many projects all around Turkey and expanded her knowledge in management and industrial buildings.

In 2001, Elif was invited by Eren Talu Architects to take on the role of client representative for the HQ building of MSD, a global healthcare leader company from the USA. From the foundation of Archistanbul in 2004 and concurrently with the representative role of MSD, she has worked as designer and project coordinator in various projects such as administrative buildings, housing, offices and hotels in Eren Talu Architects. After the foundation of Archistanbul Architects in 2004 with her two partners, she completed many commercial office projects, hotels and hospitals. During those years, she gained experience in company management and client relations from various sectors.

In 2009, Elif founded Yaratıcı İşler Ltd. to work more independently and to continue her academic education. Here, she has designed mainly commercial interiors until she started to work with Archistanbul as a project partner again. Since 2012, Elif was acting Project Director for healthcare buildings of Acıbadem Hospitals for Archistanbul. She has completed eight hospital projects in accordance with Turkish and international healthcare legislation before she joined DPA.
