Ng San Son is an accomplished designer with a fervent dedication to crafting spaces that establish both emotional and functional bonds among people. His design philosophy is marked by an open-minded and exploratory approach, meticulously delving into architectural intent, creatively adapting spaces, and adeptly manipulating light and shadow. Through active collaboration with clients, he not only brings their visions to life but also ensures a seamless alignment with the needs of end-users.

Boasting a diverse portfolio encompassing various typologies and scales, he consistently showcases his design excellence. Particularly notable is his recent work on the HomeTeamNS Khatib Clubhouse, redefining home and community by dissolving boundaries and skillfully interweaving connections, all within a framework of sustainable design principles.

Furthermore, his expertise is demonstrated in his design of SAFRA Choa Chu Kang (CCK), where he masterfully blends a vibrant and distinctive form that resonates with the essence of fitness and inspiration. This facility caters to diverse users with an array of wellness amenities, leveraging its natural setting as a pioneering park-embedded building that underscores his dedication to environmental harmony.

In recognition of his excellence in and contribution of architectural design that enriches and uplifts the human experience, San Son was named one of the twenty promising Singaporean architects under the age of 45 by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) in 2017. Today, he continues to impart architecture knowledge and push design boundaries through continued dialogue and collaboration as a design tutor in the Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore. Additionally, he holds positions as a board member in Singapore’s Board of Architects and an examiner in the Professional Practice Examination Panel, further solidifying his dedication to advancing the architectural profession.
