Graced by Deputy Prime Minister Mr Gan Kim Yong, the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) 2026 saw the launch of the Champions of AI programme on 27th October. A national initiative led by Enterprise Singapore, the programme will offer stronger support for enterprise-wide adoption of AI and technology in systems, operations and workforce development. DP Architects (DPA) is honoured to be among the selected organisations participating in this programme, showcasing its AI journey at the SWITCH 2026 exhibition.
Featured at the Champions of AI Pavilion, DPA took the opportunity to share the firm’s AI transition plan and ambition. Aiming to become an AI-native enterprise with AI embedded across design, delivery and operations, DPA seeks to harness the technology for the empowerment of its people. By leveraging such tools to unlock workflow potential, the practice can effectively open up opportunities for employees to unleash their creativity and innovation, driving the firm to greater heights in design excellence. With this people-centric framework as the foundation of DPA’s AI transformation, the practice is also cognisant of developing its workforce in response to the industry’s evolving changes. On this, the firm outlines an ambition to push for 100% AI-fluency among its professionals and staff while also identifying key champions who will lead this organisation-wide transition.
Beyond DPA, it is also the practice’s aspiration to extend its digital and AI tools to the industry at large through its tech venture, Spatial Intelligence for Design (Sid), thereby benefitting fellow professionals in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) space through intelligent automation and consolidation. Alleviated of the burden of time-consuming and repetitive tasks, architects and engineers may thus allocate their time to more meaningful undertakings, contributing to more positive outcomes for the BE landscape.
Running from 27th to 29th October, SWITCH 2026 is organised by Enterprise Singapore with the support of the National Research Foundation Singapore. The festival has gathered leaders and stakeholders from various industries to exchange and collaborate, focusing on technology and innovation to advance Singapore’s wider development.
