DP Architects is pleased to share that two of our young professionals have been recognised as promising young professionals under the age of 40 at the recently concluded PERSPECTIVE 40 Under 40 Award.
This is a second recognition for Ar. Wayne Lim and Ar. Jireh Lee, who received their awards at the Perspective A&D award gala dinner in Hong Kong. Earlier this year, Ar. Lim and Ar. Lee along with four other young DPA architects were recognised in the Singapore Business Review’s most outstanding architecture professionals under 40.
DPA associate director, Ar. Lim is a seasoned professional with over 13 years of experience in mixed-use development projects of varying scales across the region. Adept in Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology, he is involved in complex projects that require extensive BIM (Revit) coordination such as the recently completed 250,000sqm retail destination in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), The Exchange TRX. In recent years, Ar. Lim has acquired specialisation in the niche market of data centre design. He was part of the team that master planned data centres in Malaysia, Singapore and most recently the completed sustainable data centre, STT Jakarta 1 in Indonesia. A firm believer in a greener future, he continues to explore new innovative technology to deliver purposeful sustainable design and better outcomes.
DPA associate Ar. Jireh Lee, is part of the architectural design team that delivered award-winning projects including Why Green? a sustainable art installation exhibited at i Light Singapore 2019, and SAFRA Choa Chu Kang Clubhouse, a Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy certified clubhouse recognised for its community-centric and sustainable design. His pursuit and involvement in sustainability-focused projects stem from his personal passion for sustainability and computational design; it enables him to bring a unique perspective that blends creativity, technical expertise and environmental consciousness to projects he works on. Beyond the office, he actively contributes to the education of the architectural community through participation in workshops; among which is the facilitation of youth participation in the Urban Redevelopment Authority’s (URA) Challenge for the Urban & Built Environment (CUBE).
