Ar. Angelene Chan Receives Inaugural AWiCS–SIA Woman Architect of the Year Award

Ar. Angelene Chan, Executive Chairman of DP Architects, received the AWiCS-SIA Woman Architect of the Year award on 7^th October from the Guest of Honour Ms Indranee Rajah, Second Minister for Finance and National Development, marking her significant contributions to Singapore’s urban landscape and the field of architecture. The inaugural AWiCS awards, organised by the Association of Women in Construction (Singapore), honour the exceptional achievements and contributions of women in the built environment industry across five categories, which include Architect, Engineer, Interior Designer, Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor.

As one of Singapore’s pioneering women architects in the built environment industry, Angelene has demonstrated notable design ingenuity and a strong commitment to human-centred outcomes throughout her distinguished career. Her work has contributed significantly to shaping Singapore’s urban landscape and has helped advance the Singapore brand in international markets.
