DP Architects weighs in on Contemplative Healthcare Design at Annual Healthcare Facilities Asia 2018

Ms Tania Wee, DP Architects director, discussed Contemplative Healthcare Design during the 5th Annual Healthcare Facilities Asia conference in May. This annual summit centre stages key Government plans for healthcare facilities, country project showcases and investment opportunities and operating efficiency benchmarks.

In her address, Tania highlights the Contemplative care approach that it is being increasingly recognised by the healthcare industry leaders. Through this approach that creates meaningful pause points, designers hope to transform the current healthcare design solutions into one that is more mindful and well informed. In turn, this would translate into better healthcare design outcomes that will contribute to shorter hospital stays and a more effective way to promote patients’ well-being.
