Transforming the City Centre through Accessibility and Comfort
Coronation Square
Johor Bahru

The mega mixed-use development is aimed to transform the surrounding areas of Jalan Trus and Jalan Abdullah Ibrahim within the city centre of Johor Bahru. Being one of the major upcoming developments contributing to the future character of the city’s Central Business District, the project will enrich and revitalise the surrounding physical environment and socioeconomic ambience.

The entire development is conceptualised with focus on enhancing city living, with direct vehicular access via fly-over connecting roads from the Tebrau Interchange. Design considerations in the form of convenient and safe people movement sheltered walkways

linked directly to the Immigration Complex will seamlessly plugged the development into the existing footfall movement arterials. Integration of modern public amenities and facilities will further enrich the ambience, user-friendliness and public-security awareness of the spaces augmenting their benefits to the locals and visitors alike.

Conceptually, the retail podium and Persada Annex returns public space to the community. The undulating façade on the ground floor creates urban pockets for the crowd to spill out into the outdoors. A double volume event plaza in the middle of the mall is well shaded and naturally ventilated, and wide enough to accommodate large crowd during events or celebrations.

The quality of the commercial and residential spaces encapsulated within shall generate optimum benefits to inspire and fulfil the aspirations of the community, enhancing the Work-Live-Play lifestyle environment for the people.
