Pullman Singapore Hill Street blends its historically rich locale with the brand’s heritage, offering a holistic haven for contemporary travellers. The design is inspired by railways and George Pullman train cars, making it the first Pullman hotel to embody the brand through its design scheme.

Architecturally, the hotel responds to its urban context by aligning its datum with the height of the adjacent conserved shophouses and incorporating a sensitive reinterpretation of urban history. The terracotta-hued aluminium podium façade echoes the roof tiles once used on the shophouses, while the vertical fins of the tower’s curtain wall nod to railway tracks. The U-shaped hotel tower frames an internal courtyard and is oriented towards stunning views of Marina Bay and Fort Canning, as if embracing the modern world. With 350 rooms, the internal courtyard and pool deck are integrated to create an urban oasis balancing past and future.

The interior design continues the train-inspired theme with warm tones reminiscent of vintage locomotives. From the lobby to the guestrooms, the design evokes luxurious train journeys with its walnut-coloured hardwood flooring and textured wall coverings that resemble train cabins. This elegant fusion of history and modernity provides guests with a unique, immersive hospitality experience at Pullman Singapore Hill Street, inspired by the iconic Pullman train car.
