DP Architects Sweeps Six Awards at CREDAward 2026

Recognised across typologies for design excellence, six of DP Architects’ projects have been selected as winners at CREDAward 2026. These include The Opera Residence, House of Tan Yeok Nee, Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Green Innovation Park, The Standard, Singapore, The Ring·Live and Luneng Dalian Jinshitan Meilihui. Organised by DJSER, the award features outstanding projects from more than 20 countries and regions for their architectural, social and environmental outcomes. These achievements attest to the firm’s sustained commitment to designs that benefit the wider community and the planet.

Winning Gold in the Residence category, The Opera Residence responds to the Thu Thiem master plan through careful massing considerations, thoughtfully assimilating the development into its wider urban context while augmenting connectivity with the surrounding environment for enhanced civic value. The architectural execution of symmetrical twin towers – preserving key river view corridors and strengthening axial vistas for effective cross-ventilation – is further complemented by the implementation of splayed and angled floor plates for improved daylight penetration and spatial quality, offering a refined setting for urban living.

Awarded Gold in the Urban Regeneration category, House of Tan Yeok Nee is a sensitive conservation and adaptive reuse of the original 19^th-century Chinese mansion, restoring contemporary relevance to the architecture while retaining its deep-rooted cultural and heritage meaning. This intention to reinstate the architectural authenticity is central to the scheme, with interventions thoughtfully executed in alignment with regulatory and accessibility considerations. Similarly, the proposed adaptive reuse of the spaces within the building is committed to preserving the architecture’s unique essence, ensuring that the experience and environment remain true to the spirit of the building’s initial design even with changes in function.

Accorded Silver in the Planning Design – Urban Planning (>50ha) category, Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Green Innovation Park is conceived in alignment with China’s growing commitment to its “Dual Carbon” objectives. Positing a future-forward model of eco-conscious urban development, the project seeks to establish a vibrant, mixed-use and environmentally resilient development for amplified sustainability. Its diverse provision of porous public spaces, integrated green infrastructure and climate-responsive strategies sets a strong foundation for an innovative and low-carbon development.

Presented with the Merit award in the Comprehensive Commercial Project – Hotel category, the architectural design for The Standard, Singapore is formulated as a creative interpretation of the brand’s Hollywood origins. Its striking lenticular, reflective façade works in tandem with a curated pop-biophilic landscape scheme to present a quirky and playful hospitality experience, inviting guests to socialise and interact within diverse settings.

A Merit winner in the Comprehensive Commercial Project – Community Commercial Center category, The Ring·Live functions as the core of the Galaxy Midtown project – a future-ready development that foregrounds holistic spatial planning for community-centric outcomes. A future Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), the project connects adjacent buildings through various pedestrian linkages to enhance accessibility while providing a suite of diverse programmatic functions for synergistic offerings. Blending commerce and community, the development’s ‘cellular’ layout – referencing the spatial model adopted in Singapore’s community hubs – positions various programmatic areas as a comprehensive experience.

Recognised with the Merit award in the Comprehensive Commercial Project – Mixed-Use category, Luneng Dalian Jinshitan Meilihui activates the expansive coastal geography of Jinshitan Golden Beach to establish an interconnected coastal cultural tourism landmark. Drawing cues from its surrounding ocean context, the development consolidates a span of culture, commerce and tourism options under an integrated framework, articulated through a zonal layout that centres on an elliptical core. Dissolving the boundary between building and nature, the adoption of a soft, organic massing approach further accentuates the sea view, while a three-tier circulation network fosters multi-dimensional connectivity for pedestrian permeability.
