DP Architects is honoured that our projects, Alexandra Integrated General Hospital (AIGH) and the Elective Care Centre & National Dental Centre Singapore (ECC & NDCS), have been recognised at the Ministry of Health Holdings (MOHH) Design Excellence Awards. The awards ceremony was held on 17th March and was attended by DPA director Chan Hui Min for AIGH and Ar. Timothy Tan for ECC & NDCS, and CEO of DPA Ar. Seah Chee Huang (pictured on right below), who received the awards on behalf of the design practice.
Receiving the prestigious Gold Award, the patient-centric and well-being-focused design and planning strategies for AIGH aim to reinvigorate the hospital’s existing heritage buildings, improve its connectivity to adjacent communities and transport nodes and enhance its accessibility to and integration with green spaces. Conceived in alignment with the hospital’s care model and multidisciplinary programme, the redevelopment plans will enable patients to receive acute and rehabilitative care with more accessibility.
